Wardrobe stylists (also known as personal stylists or fashion image consultants) are fashion-savvy clothing and shopping specialists who aim to help you look your best. At Seek New York LLC, our wardrobe stylists have years of experience working as celebrity stylists as well as with private shopping and wardrobe styling clients.How does it work?
All wardrobe styling clients begin their experience with the completion of a detailed style questionnaire. This process lets our NYC wardrobe consultants learn a little bit about your personality, and helps us to determine your specific taste, budget, and goals. We also like for clients to send us a few snapshots which exemplify their current style (or lack thereof!)

Shopping with a Seek NYC wardrobe stylist will be a fun and informative experience.
Based on this questionnaire, we will create a shopping plan specifically for you. You'll meet at a pre-selected store, and your NYC personal stylist will be there to help you every step of the way. Need a different denim cut? No problem. Stay in the dressing room and let your wardrobe stylist find a pair of jeans more suited to your body type. Like that sweater but hate the price tag? Seek wardrobe stylists can offer advice on where to find something similar but more budget-friendly, or maybe even tell you how to score the exact same item for less. Want us to do the hard work for you? Let us pre-shop the store for a selection of clothing that meets your needs and pull everything into a private fitting room prior to your arrival. That way, all you'll have to do is spend a couple of hours dressing up!
All wardrobe styling and personal shopping outings are tailored specifically to the needs and goals of the individual client. You can arrange a session with a specific shopping goal in mind (work clothing, vacation wear, maternity clothes, sexy lingerie, etc.) or opt for a general wardrobe update.

Lots of people come to us simply because they'd like a fresh perspective on style, or need some help updating (or re-accessorizing) their current wardrobe. And while women are known for their love of clothing, we have just as many men who take advantage of our services.
We've found that a gift certificate for our personal styling services is a popular choice for birthdays and anniversaries, too!

How much will it cost me?
At Seek, we offer affordable personal stylist and personal shopping services. While other styling companies charge hundreds (or even thousands!) for their services, the standard rate for a one-on-one wardrobe styling outing with a Seek personal stylist is $125/hour, with a minimum commitment of two hours. If you are interested in having your wardrobe stylist do an optional pre-pull prior to your appointment, an additional $75 (flat fee) will apply. Pick out the things you want to keep, and we'll take care of returning the rejects. Virtual wardrobe styling appointments (conducted via e-mail, telephone, and video conference) are available for out-of-town clients and those with irregular work schedules.
