One-Day Intensive for Costume Designers

Seek New York offers a one day workshop for costume designers.
This daylong immersion into the world of costuming is created specifically for those who are serious about pursuing a career as a costume designer or wardrobe stylist. Experience a behind-the-scenes look at the field of professional costume design.

Intensive will expose participants to the world of costuming in NYC, as well as "real life" insight into what it's like to work in New York City, and useful advice and information to help make your costume dream a reality. Whether you're committed to a career in costume design or simply weighing your options, our one-day intensive will help you understand what being a professional costume designer is all about.
The one-day intensive is a private, highly customized experience structured to fit each designer's particular needs and goals. Participants are encouraged to come prepared with questions (and parental concerns!) about a career in costume design, sketches and shopping list (if working on a show), and a current portfolio and/or examples of design work for critique.
