Our goal is to bring together talented professional costume designers and fashion stylists with "everyday" folks who need a hand editing their closet, revamping their wardrobe, or preparing for a special event.

At Seek, you'll receive one-on-one attention from a working member of the entertainment community. Our professional costume designers and wardrobe stylists have dressed everyone from understudies to TV stars. (Where else will you get style advice from someone who usually shops for celebs?) Our NYC shopping tours are led by a licensed tour guide who also has a styling background.
Personal stylists often charge hundreds or even thousands of dollars for their services (trust us--we've done the research!) At Seek, we understand that even non-zillionaires have lots of reasons to look their best. Most of our affordable personal stylist and personal shopper services range from $35 - $125/hour, with discounts available.
We’re here to make you look great, not to drain your wallet or waste your time. Unlike agencies who set a flat fee for their services, Seek charges shopping and styling clients by the hour. Do you want to take breaks or power through the day? Make snap decisions or analyze every detail? At Seek, the choice is up to you.
We pride ourselves on offering the same level of professionalism as other NYC personal shoppers and stylists, minus the "fashionista" mentality that often comes along with it. We won’t name-drop famous designers or chide you for not being able to recognize a dolman sleeve. We’ll offer constructive criticism, but we won’t mock your clothing choices.
Sure, you can find personal shoppers who offer their services for free at big department stores. Keep in mind, though, that store-provided shoppers often start out as sales associates, and don't necessarily have professional styling experience. Also, since many of these personal shoppers work on commission, they might pressure you into purchasing something that you’re on the fence about, just to make a sale.
